What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission? Lawrence admissions always personalized my recruitment letters. In the end, I liked being treated like a person instead of an applicant number.
What is the best course (and its department) that you have taken? Why? Although it was very difficult, I really enjoyed taking Arabic with Max Verita. Taking a rarer language gives you a unique perspective about a part of the world that is often misunderstood.
What is an interesting/helpful fact you learned about LU after you came here? I really like that Lawrence has been admitting women to study here since it opened in 1848, making it the second co-educational college in the U.S.
What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian? Being friends with other Lawrentians.

Which is your favorite resident hall? Why? My favorite hall is Draheim Hall, because of Sue (our custodian) who is essentially our house mother. To make us feel better she leaves us desserts, snacks, and other foods. She also decorated our hall to look like an actual house with flowers, seasonal decorations, and pretty lace curtains.
What is something you wish you would have brought with you freshman year? A parka, because it can get really cold here!
What do you find most exciting aout the new Campus Center? I really love the Cinema, especially on independent movie nights (and it helps that there is free popcorn!).
What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton? My favorite thing to do off-campus is to chill out at Brewed Awakenings with a cup of tea and a book.

If you were a fruit, which would you be? Why? I would be a pomegranate, because they are so juicy! I also like that they seem so biblical.
If you were a crayon or paint swatch, what color would be you? Why? Bibbity Bobbity Blue, because it sounds so happy!
If you could only eat one type of candy bar for the rest of your life, which would you choose? Any kind of chocolate bar could sustain me for the rest of my life, because I am a self-diagnosed chocaholic. (It's a real problem, actually). If I was forced to choose, it would be a Lindt milk chocolate bar.
What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as? Although I was not able to attend the party, I really liked the concept of the "slutty dinosaur" party. It takes absurd to another level.
