What was the final factor that made you say "yes" to LU's offer of admission? My visit to campus was amazing. I sat in on a dress rehersal for a choir and orchestra concert. To be the only person in the audience was an incredible experience- it gave me the chills. After struggling with the applications process, I finally felt really happy on a campus and had the confidence to make a final decision.
Who is your favorite professor (and their department) at LU? Why? Professor Carla Daughtry, Anthropology, for being the most encouraging advisor ever. Also Patricia Vilches, Spanish and Italian, and Helen Boyd Kramer, Gender Studies.
What is the best course (and its department) that you have taken? Why? I loved Introduction to International Relations with Professor Brozek. It helped me decide to pursue a minor in Government, but more importantly, a few of us in the class were inspired to create a student organization dedicated to micro-lending (it's called SEGA and you should join!).
What one thing would you say is “The Lawrence Difference”? Mike McCain. And the ability of all students to make an impact on campus or in the community.
What is your favorite part about being a Lawrentian? I love being surrounded by so many immensely talented people.

Which is your favorite resident hall? Why? Colman. It's so close to Harmony Cafe.
What is your fondest memory of your roommate from freshman year? Dressing up as M.I.A. and Lady Sovereign for Halloween.
What is something you wish you would have brought with you freshman year? My younger brothers.
What do you find most exciting about the new Campus Center? More concert space.
What is your favorite study spot on campus? Somerset Room, overlooking the river. When snow is falling, the view is gorgeous. Or the hill behind the Union.
What is your favorite thing to do in Appleton? Farmer's Market!

What is an uncommon hobby you have? Why do you like it? I love thrifting- you never know what gems you might find at thrift stores or on ebay!
What was your favorite theme party thrown this year at LU, and what did you dress as? Band Booking Committee hosted Austin, TX indie band Voxtrot on their farewell tour, and I dressed as myself.
What is something LU helped you learn about yourself? Last year for this profile I wrote that I learned to procrastinate less. And this year I'm saying that sometimes it's okay to procrastinate. So I've learned that everything eventually gets done, and I've learned to take advantage of everything that happens on campus.
