An audition is required of applicants who plan to pursue any of our degree options with a major in music, and B.A. applicants not interested in majoring in music who would like to be considered for an Ensemble Award. To register for an audition, please fill out the following request form as completely as possible. A letter confirming the date, schedule, and location of your audition will be mailed to you.

Clarinetists may audition on any date except February 23 on campus.
Bassoonists auditioning on campus must attend the February 2 event.
Guitarists auditioning on campus must attend the February 16 event.
Organists auditioning on campus should plan for a Monday audition and contact Laura Chen (laura.m.chen@lawrence.edu) directly to register. Organists may also audition in Boston or Interlochen.
Percussionists must audition on campus, at Interlochen, or in Houston.

I am a BA applicant NOT interested in majoring in music and would like to audition for an Ensemble Award.
 
I plan to submit a portfolio and be considered for the Theory/Composition scholarship.
 
I am auditioning to become a piano major, and would like to be considered for the Piano Accompanying Fellowship.
