U.S. Citizens
Lawrence offers a variety of scholarships based on academic or musical achievements. Most scholarships range from $7,000 USD to $15,000 USD per year. You will automatically be considered for scholarships when you apply for admission and will be notified at the time of admission of any awards you have received.
U.S. citizens and Permanent Residents are eligible to receive federal financial aid. To apply for need-based financial aid, you and your family must submit the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the Lawrence Financial Aid Application. The FAFSA is available online at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
You must also complete the Lawrence Application for Financial Aid. This form can be completed online or downloaded.
International Students
Many international students receive merit scholarships or need-based financial aid. Scholarships vary in amounts from $7,000 USD to full tuition, based on a combination of academic or musical achievements, country of origin, and financial need. In addition to scholarships, most financial aid awards include employment.
Lawrence is committed to financially assisting international students. Students are most competitive for admission if they can demonstrate the ability to commit at least $15,000 USD per year toward educational expenses.
If you wish to be considered for international student financial aid, you need to complete the International Student Financial Aid Form which includes the Certification of Finances form. Both forms should be submitted with your application for admission. When we review your application, we will also consider you for scholarships and financial aid.
