Off-Campus Programs

Lawrence offers a wide array of off-campus study programs around the world and across the United States, with more than half of our students participating in a program before they graduate. There is something for everyone – intensive research programs in the humanities, natural sciences, and social sciences; opportunities to increase language fluency or to learn a completely new language; and exposure to different and varied cultures.

We believe that off-campus study is an essential part of your undergraduate education. You will take the theories and information you learn in the classroom and apply them in the field – whether that's studying a particular species of bird in the rain forests of Costa Rica, ordering eine Maß in a Munich beer garden, or working as an intern at the Chicago Museum of Art. Conversely, the experiences you have in the field will influence your studies when you return to campus, bringing new insights and interests to your work.

We grant academic credit for all of our off-campus programs, so you will continue working toward your degree even while studying off-campus. And, in many cases, Lawrence financial aid will cover any additional expenses incurred by attending these programs.
