In the course of your college search you may have heard of or even read Loren Pope’s book, Colleges That Change Lives.
Lawrence University is proud to be one of the 40 colleges highlighted in this book. Mr. Pope, who passed away in 2008, wrote this book as an antidote to the high-stakes, high-anxiety game college admissions seems to have become, choosing to highlight colleges that put students (not awards or prestige) at the center of their focus.
We’re proud to be part of the book, as well as a member of CTCL, a non-profit organization devoted “to the advancement and support of a student-centered college search process.”
