The standard requirements for the GLST major:
1. GLST 100: Intro to Global Studies
2. Equivalent of a minor in one language
3. Eight standard courses (three from the arts, humanities, or musicology, three from the social sciences, and at least two courses at a level of 400 or higher)
4. Off campus Global Experience
5. Completion of Senior Experience

The Human Security Track requires two courses chosen from a set of core classes:
GOVT 248: Social Entrepreneurship
ECON 200: Development Economics
MUCO 493: Music and Gender in Cross-Cultural Perspective
ENG 516: Literature and Human Rights
