Arts in Context in London & Florence
Italy, United Kingdom - Sponsored by ACM
The ACM London and Florence Program draws comparisons among the historical and political contexts of art, architecture, literature, and theatre in two historically prominent cities. Coursework is supplemented by visits to museums, galleries, and theatres; short trips to other areas of England and Italy; and discussions with local scholars. Students spend eight weeks in each city. An optional intensive course in Italian language is offered in January. Faculty Advisors: Kathy Privatt & Elizabeth Carlson
No previous language study is required. The program is open to seniors, juniors, and advanced sophomores.
