Program Providers

Many program providers offer scholarships for students on their programs. Check with your program’s provider to see if you are eligible to apply for any scholarships directly through them. This list is not comprehensive and other program providers may offer scholarships in addition to those listed.

Institute for the International Education of Students (IES)

IES awards over $2 million each year in need- and merit-based scholarships to students participating in IES programs. IES also offers awards to minority students and students from liberal arts universities. www.iesabroad.org/IES/Scholarships_and_Aid/financialAid.html

International Studies Abroad (ISA)

ISA awards $60,000 in need- and merit-based scholarships each year to students who are participating in ISA's programs as follows: www.studiesabroad.com/admissions/document/scholarships

SEA Semester

SEA Semester scholarships include a $7,500 Presidential Scholarship and a $5,000 merit-based Dean's Award. www.sea.edu/admissions/scholarships_and_deadlines

Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad

The Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad provides more than $2 million per year in financial aid and need-based scholarships, ranging between $500 and $2,000. www.arcadia.edu/abroad/default.aspx?id=6773

University of Minnesota

School for Field Studies (SFS)

The School for Field Studies awards more than $180,000 in need-based scholarships each year with roughly one-third of SFS students receiving some type of SFS aid. www.fieldstudies.org/admissions/aid

Higher Education Consortium for Urban Affairs (HECUA)

HECUA offers $750 merit scholarships and a $1,500 Scholarship for Social Justice. www.hecua.org/scholarships.php
