Is it permissable to use copyright protected images, sound recordings, video and other media in Honors Projects?
Yes. Contributors are encouraged to deposit their work into Lux in an unredacted form. Early in 2012 the librarians at the Seeley G. Mudd library created a statement of fair use of copyrighted materials in scholarship, 
Lux Best Practices for Fair Use. This document provides guidelines for scholar, artists and others opportunity to use copyrighted material without permission under certain circumstances.
