This ACM field-research program is designed primarily for advanced students wishing to pursue a significant field-based independent research project. This research may be in the humanities, social sciences, or sciences. Students prepare for their research during a month-long orientation that includes intensive language training and a review of fieldwork methodology. The research may be integrated with an ongoing project at Lawrence or started afresh on the program.
