To seek admission to the 2011-12 London Centre program, a student must submit the London Centre Proposal to the Off-Campus Programs office in the International House no later than 5:00 pm on March 30th, 2011. The application is available from the Application Forms for Off-Campus Study page. Students interested in applying after the deadline should contact the Off-Campus Programs Coordinator as soon as possible to see if a late application is possible.
If there are more suitable applicants than there are available spaces for a given term, students will be shifted to their second-choice term based on a combination of seniority and other relevant academic and scheduling factors. In situations where such accommodations cannot be made, a waiting list ranked according to the same criteria will be maintained for each over-subscribed term.
If accepted, a student must make a $500 non-refundable deposit within 10 days of notification of acceptance to the program. The $500 is credited to the Lawrence bill during the term the student is in London.
Lawrence will consider applications from non-Lawrence students. In the event that we receive more applications than the program will handle, applications from qualified Lawrence students will be given preference over non-Lawrence students. Non-Lawrence students applying for this program should contact the Off-Campus Programs Coordinator in advance of applying regarding small differences to their application procedure. At this time, the internship program is not available for non-Lawrence students participating in the program.
