Applications are now being accepted for 2008-2009 programs.
The application deadline for affiliated programs is Wednesday 6 February 2008 and London Centre applications are due by Wednesday 9 April 2008. Students wishing to participate in an affiliated program must turn in both the Lawrence application and the entire program-specific application (which is available on the program's web site). All application materials (references, transcripts, language proficiency forms, or other application requirements) must be to the Off-Campus Programs office in the International House by the application deadline.
All Lawrence application materials are available from the forms section of this web site.

The 2007-2008 deadline for affiliated programs has passed and applications are no longer being accepted. Lawrence programs (London Centre and Senegal Francophone) may still have some availability, so please inquire if you are interested.
It is strongly recommended that students interested in off-campus study make an introductory appointment with the off-campus program advisor Laura Zuege — and, where available, faculty program advisors. These meetings help students establish academic goals, explore their off-campus options, and to discuss logistical issues such as timing of participation and the application process.
Off-campus study provides a valuable opportunity to hone and extend the intellectual skills and
capacity for civic and political engagement associated with a Lawrence
liberal arts education by placing students in educational settings that
purposefully combine classroom and experiential learning. In such
settings students are challenged to apply and question what has been
learned on the home campus and to evaluate alternate perspectives and ways of learning.
Off-campus study also provides a rich opportunity for personal growth
as students gain independence and self-confidence through active
engagement with social and cultural practices different than their own
and/or through the experience of educational or research settings whose
pedagogical approaches and curricular structures differ from those at
Lawrence.
Students who wish to study off-campus are encouraged to make an appointment with Sara Beth Holman in the Financial Aid department to discuss your financial expectations. Program costs vary widely and it is best to be prepared for the financial reality of your off-campus study decisions.
Campus visits in the fall and winter terms by representatives of the
affiliated programs, as well as individual discussions with the program faculty and staff, provide an excellent opportunity to learn more. Program advertising materials will be available during fall and winter terms in the Main Hall lounge. Please also consult your academic advisor, other faculty, students who have studied off-campus in the past, and the Off-Campus Programs Advisor to gather as much information about the program(s) as possible.
Important note: Students wishing to participate in an affiliated program must turn in both the Lawrence application and the entire program-specific application (available on the program's web site).
