All LU applications are submitted online. You can apply by choosing a program below and clicking the Apply button on the program page. Contact the Off-Campus Programs office for assistance.

Global Diversity General Education Requirement

Participation in programs listed with a (G) designation below will automatically fulfill the Global Diversity general education requirement.  Students participating in a program that does not have a (G) designation below can use the regular petition process to have a particular course taken in their program to fulfill the Global Diversity requirement.  Students who wish to have their off-campus programs work applied toward general education requirements in a particular way should petition the Faculty Subcommittee on Administration with support from the relevant academic department before participation in the program.

Description:
IES Salamanca offers Spanish-taught courses focusing on Iberian culture, comparative studies of the Mediterranean Basin, and comparative studies of Spain and Latin America. The majority of students combine program courses with study at the Universidad de Salamanca. The program also offers education and political internships.

Prerequisites:
Previous language study is required.

Students should contact the Spanish department about how credit from the summer program might be applied toward a major/minor.
