This state-of-the-art facility is conveniently located in the heart of campus and built into a hillside overlooking the Fox River. Completed in 1986, the Buchanan Kiewit Center contains an Olympic-size swimming pool with separate diving well, moveable bulkhead, electronic timing equipment, and an underwater viewing area. A 12,000-square-foot gymnasium with a hardwood floor is used for basketball, volleyball, fencing, and badminton. The building also features an elevated four-lane running track, 2,500-square-foot exercise room, weight room featuring Nautilus and Universal equipment, and four racquetball courts. There are saunas in both the men's and women's locker rooms.
